On Friday, July 18th at approximately 7:30 PM a severe thunderstorm passed over Square Pond, a direct lightning strike hit close to one of our campers, there were a few minor incidents of damage, one camper was knocked down from a electrical shock, another had a minor burn on her leg. It was a very frightening experience, one that will be remembered for many years to come - thank goodness they say lightning never strikes the same place twice!!!!
